| The WWW has become a well-attended and signifiacant activity. It is announced in the bulletin and from the pulpit. The chairperson (me) has been placing a nice poster in the lobby and setting up a showing of the wonderful video. The religious school is very involved with making the kits (usually the 6th grade), inviting parents to the Wrap, and having a bagel breakfast aftrward. Typically Rabbi Mirelamn is the main instructor for the tefillin. We have a nice collection of old tefillin courtesy of a member who obtained them from a now-defunct congreagtion. Other congregants - mostly from the morning Minyan - also help with instructions. I have been taking pictures and givng them to their respective subjects. | |

| At the HAr Shalom Men's Club in Potomac Maryland we are working closely with the clergy and school staff to make the WWW more than a one day event. A committee consisting of the Senior Rabbi, Hazzan, Religious School Director, School Board Chair. VP for Religious Activities, our Men's Club President and Youth Activities Leader, is planning a program directed toward this goal. Starting in January, 7th graders will receive weekly additional training in tefillin and in a learning minyan. On January 24, the 39 member 6th grader class will build the tefillin kits during a class family date. | We have been advertising the World Wide Wrap for several months. One of our members is providing instruction to the religious school how to don tefillin and its meaning. Our Sunday minyan will be a clinic. Experienced daveners will assist novices. We have extra tefillin for those lacking this. Both rabbis are club members. They will lead the Sunday minyan and explain tefillin. Afterwards, Men's Club will serve danish, tea, coffee, and juice for a bit of ruach. | |
