Comments:	Our World Wide Wrap began with an entertaining lecture/presentation by in-house tefillin expert Gerry Shapiro. Gerry, a member of CAI, had attendees follow along in the text as to the reasoning behind tefillin customs and argued the case for tefillin use among women. This was an event for multiple generations as the Men's Club, our Hay class and parents (both genders) participated in the discussion. Following the lecture, CAI was graced with the presence of former JTS Chancellor Ismar Shorsch. Dr. Shorsch spoke to congregants about his Torah commentary book "Canon Without Closure" and offered an interpretation of the weekly torah portion. His insights on God and Jewish Law were a perfect dovetail with our tefillin event.
